Important:Investigation of a site is limited due to economic constraints and is to be used to give a general indication of sub surface strata, its approximate surface movement and its capacity to bear the proposed construction. The design engineer should relate this report to the specific needs of the construction proposed for this site and seek further investigation if necessary.

Well the the new year is passing very quickly and we are now looking toward the end of the financial year already. We said "we anticipated 2012 will be a bumper year for new houses and commercial buildings so we suggest getting in early to be ahead of the pack" and I think we were right, there is a definite increase in optimism and enquiry which is leading into more houses being built than last year. CSI Soil Testing is active in this upsurge as we move out of the GFC and into more confidence in the SE Corner of Qld. I believe the phenomenon that is the mining boom is starting to sweep it's reach in the South East. Also remember don't just shop for the cheapest price for a soil test, this is a very valuable asset you are about to build and your foundations are the most important part of the building and if not done right that expensive front door may not work. Do you realise that the cheapest operators may only spend a very small amount of time and effort on your block or worse still may just drive past, take a photo and then produce a report.
